Overview

This is a nice moderate trail inside the forest where you will come across a lake and two caves.

This was the first time we hiked this trail. The sky was cloudy, the weather pleasant and the trail was quite green even though it was the dry season. It is expected to be more green and beautiful during the monsoon season.

This trail was easy in terms of elevation gain, but tricky in some spots because of dense vegetation, some of which was also thorny.

Trail description

The trail starts at the hiking starting point beside a few village houses, which goes through a narrow trail and enters into the forest

After a few hundred meters, you will pass through a beautiful lake with a few beautiful hills in background where you can chill and take a dip too after you finish the hike

After passing through the lake, you will get back into the forest where there will be a few spots where it is a little steep and a few spots which are tricky due to the overgrown thorny bushes

Towards the "end" of the hike, you will see two different cave formations.

At the peak, you get nice views of the village and the surrounding hills, there is ample space to have your breakfast/lunch and relax.

🌦️ Season

Any time of the year. Might need more caution on the steep rocky patches during monsoons

🎟️ Permit

Technically, this trail is inside a forest. But it's very unlikely that your entry into the forest through this trail will be blocked.

🐾 Wildlife

We did not spot any wildlife other than a few village dogs at the beginning of the trail who were hostile which we have to be careful to not provoke

Getting there

Follow the directions to the hike starting point and from there you could use the gaia gpx file

Road conditions

Roads are paved, but slightly broken in some spots, should be good enough for most cars.. And a parking spots with space for 3 cars.

Cleanliness

Found minimal trash on the trail.

Crowd

Almost no one goes here except a few locals.
