How it went
- At the trailhead: breifing about getting your bearings. Looking at landmarks & making a mental note of which landmark is in which direction.
- One participant confirms & follows a trail.
- We reach a point where there are multiple trails leading in different directions.
- We decided to explore to the trail to a point I marked on Google Maps (shared a Google Maps link) [Mostly becasue free version of most navigation apps don't have satellite imagery]
- Went to the lake while the participants we recording the path we took.
- Chilled at the lake for sometime.
- Decided to retrace our recorded path & resume on the trail provided for the small cave
- Another participant took over.
- Through-cave traverse.
- A different person navigated to the big cave
- Walked back to the trailhead.
- Lunch at Mandarathi Gardenia.
- Back home
- Expenses: ₹750 (breakfast, lunch, fuel+toll in car, auto-rickshaw)
- Photos uploaded to album
- New pond trail gpx shared by participants

What
- End goal: Hike with a provided gpx file & navigate on your own
- Will share setup instructions that you need to go through before joining the hike
- I will help you with figuring out how to use the app.
- How to explore new areas without getting lost. How to retrace your own path.
- Sensor calibration.
- Rotate in the same location & see how the pointer moves wrt to the map.

Price
- Free (pay as you like after the hike; any payment is redeemable as a discount when buying my guide [price locked in at ₹2000/2500])
- Transportaion & food not included. We will carpool (can do this at a spot accessible from a train station)
