This is a beautiful short & easy trail through a forest leading to a seasonal waterfall. The trail has a few thorny plants, but physically easy. Wading through the vegetation is well worth the effort for the stream & a lovely waterfall that the trail ends at.

45 minute delay (of which a 30 minute delay was because of me)
3 cars. 9 people. 8 participants.
breakfast at paakshaala hoskote [has washrooms] (had breakfast at attur coffee on the recce hike); ₹120 each for light breakfast.
drove to the trailhead. last section of road was slightly tricky because of wet mud & a few puddles. but all cars came through (nexon, swift, switft)
started hiking around between 8 & 9 am. checked the flow rate at the check dam crossing. very little flow.
went to stream spot. [note: taking more than 8 people here will make it very crowded]
first waterfall. dry.
butterfly spot en route to the top of the first waterfall. quick hydration break. (i was feeling weaker than normal, probably because i donated blood the previous day)
checked with everyone if they were okay with going through the tricky terrain for second waterfall. everyone wanted to go.
2-3 folks needed help at the steep section before the second waterfall bush duckwalk section. (will be super tricky while it's raining)
chilled & snacked at the open spot a little downstream from the upper fall.
headed further up. above the second fall & beyond.
2 folks decided to chill & wait as the terrain go trickier. checked if they had enough water & electrolytes. they did not. gave them 1 liter of water. we went ahead.
through the freshly cleared (but still kinda tricky) section of bush that you have to duck under. cleared a few more thorny plants. passed through
climbed up to some big boulders. spotted a small cave/canyon below the rocks.
climbed up the round boulder. chilled.
hiked down. mild scramble.
met the 2 waiting hikers. got down the tricky section. 2-3 again needed help.
spotted a turtle shell near rocky section above first waterfall while coming back
stopped to hydrate.
walked all the way down to the trailhead.
2 folks headed out directly to bangalore
7 of us stopped for lunch. good food at palki family restaurant ₹400 each, full stomach.
